Elliot: Hello and welcome to the daily Galaxy Film Radio show, and our weekly film review segment. This weeks film is… Interstellar, probably the most anticipated film of the year. This weeks guest is Michael Nalder, a good friend of mine that is equally as interested in films as I am, maybe even a bit more. Hello, Michael how are you on this fine morning?

Guest: Hello there Elliot, I’m quite good this morning, and very happy to be helping with this review.

Elliot: Oh good then, first off, what was your overall view on the film before you went to watch it?

Guest: *Gives his thoughts*

Elliot: Alright, before we get into the in depth review of the film what would you say you would rate this film out of ten? Up to Lord of the Rings standard or down to the Room standard?

Guest: *His thoughts*

Elliot: I think if I was to rate it out of ten it would be around 9/10 to 9.5/10, extremely good film, not up to scratch with The Lord of the Rings but as you know I don’t think anything will beat those films, but that could just be because I’m a fan boy. So, lets step away from Interstellar for the time being and discuss films in general. In your opinion what is the best film that has ever been made?

Guest: *His thought*

Elliot: Would you class this as your favorite film as well?

Guest: *His Thoughts*

Elliot: So with the recent Superhero announcements, which film are you looking forward to the most, I know you’re a fan of Marvel so give us your thoughts?

Guest: *His thoughts*

Elliot: As you’re probably aware I’m not that much of a fan of Superhero films but I am quite a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman so of course I am most looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which is the sequel to what could be my favorite film of the year if I decide it isn't it is definitely in my top 5.

Guest: *His thoughts*

Elliot: Right thanks a lot for joining me. This has been Galaxy film radio and thank you for joining us.

Editing The Broadcast

The Process

The process of Editing my broadcast was quite an easy process. I had to bring my recording onto my computer via a USB stick and put them onto Audition. Once I put it into Audition all I had to do was edit parts that I did not want to be on there and put background music in, quietly enough so you can still hear what is being said in the interview. After this I converted it to an MP3 file so it is up for listening.

This is the recording and editing process after it has been added to audition. I put each of the recordings into different sections which then leads to the recordings being able to overlap each other and have background music.

Recording the Show

To get my Interview recorded I went into the recording room with my partner. We went in and got everything sorted out and was ready to record. The recording area was two monitors and a keyboard with all if the equipment plugged into it so it was good enough to use as a recording platform.

After we had everything set up I then went on to reading my script and starting the interview with my guest. This was an easy process as all I had to do was read off of my script and make sure that my guest answered the questions correctly.

After the recording was finished I had to move the files onto a USB stick to get them onto my editing computer. This involved converting it into a different file so it could be moved.
